The Queen of Hearts is a progressive raffle. Each week one raffle ticket is drawn from the tickets sold that week. That ticket is associated with a card slot on the number board (see figure 1). The ticket drawn is turned over to reveal a card. Each card is associated with a pay out amount:



  This Summer Blitz twist on the classic Queen of Hearts Raffle guarantees a jackpot winner by August 31!
If the Queen is revealed, the ticket holder wins half the jackpot and the game is over. If the Queen is not revealed, the ticket holder wins the amount associated to that card and the game continues into the next week when another ticket is drawn. As cards are revealed, the cards become extinct during the remainder of the raffle. 

  Ticket purchasers will be allowed to pick a card slot or let the computer randomly pick a card slot. Weekly winners are shared with ticket purchasers each week via email within 48 hours. The winner will be contacted by SHVPMC within 15 days of the drawing to collect any winnings. 

  The jackpot pool seeded with $1,000 and the amount is based on ticket sales, so be sure to share the game with your friends and family! Tickets may be bought each week, or scheduled for automatic purchase.
