“Real Men… Real Faith” welcomes all men over age 18 to attend. You don’t have to be Catholic or even regularly attend any church to participate. Come once, come occasionally, come regularly… we’ll always be here, and our meetings will always be open:
When: Tuesdays, 6 to 7 p.m. Where: Sacred Heart Education Center (same time as PSR or parish school of religion)
This group is not meant to replace any of the current men’s Bible study or faith groups in our parish. Many of our men’s groups, formed after attending an ACTS Retreat, are strong, vibrant and often engage in Bible studies you’d find in graduate schools of theology.
This group will not analyze papal encyclicals or examine the writings of the doctors of the church. During our one-hour gatherings, we will simply read, review and discuss the mass readings for the upcoming Sunday. We’ll open and close with prayer.
No one will be giving advice. No one will tell men what they should do. But we will listen, attempt to answer questions and, most of all, respect and be present to all men as Christ was loving, respectful and present to so many.
